But, we all know that Connection with a Community of Learners can help motivate us when we are discouraged, can suggest new ideas, point out discoveries that can produce our own "aha!" moments; can help us get clarity when we are confused; and provide commiseration when we are overwhelmed.

We have a couple of NEW FEATURES in the Navigation that can help you connect with other DulcimerCrossing students:

1.  COMMUNITY takes you to the Dulcimer Tent Community (formerly The Dulcimer Tent Forum) where

The second of these, MEMBERS, is the brand new MEMBERSHIP Directory where you can see and "chat" with other members, the same way you would in an in-person festival.

The default displays members alphabetically by their first name, but can be sorted by each of these tabs:

You can also search for a member using the FIND A MEMBER (beside the magnifying glass) search function

Each member can have as much or as little information displayed.  Our example features Erin Mae Lewis, with one test account listing only her name and time zone with general area.  The second one includes a description she has written, and in the bottom right corner links to social media ways to connect with her.

The Chat box in the upper right is a way for ONLY members of this website to chat with each other.  If you don't wish to answer, that choice is yours and yours alone!
