Four Chord Looping.

I've been improvising and composing with simple, circular chord progressions for at least a couple of decades, and this is still one of my favorite ways to make music. In this session I will share with you two of my all-time favorite 4-Chord Loops: D - A - Bm - G, and a re-ordering starting with the minor chord: Bm - G - D - A. These are both incredibly popular loops, and they are great fun on the DAd dulcimer!!

Jerry Rockwell is a musician and luthier based in Ohio’s foothill country (and more recently in Wooster, which is in NE Ohio). He composes and records ambient, meditative music on the electric and acoustic mountain dulcimer.
During the past five decades, Jerry has played and taught at folk festivals in England, Ireland and Iceland and across the USA. He continues to design and build custom mountain dulcimers.
