Tunes From the Great American Songbook (1 hr)

The “Great American Songbook” is the canon of the most important and influential American popular songs and jazz standards published in the early 20th century.  They include songs from Tin Pan Alley, as well as tunes created for Broadway theatre and musicals. This class will provide you a rich study in “color chords”, well beyond the basic I-IV-V.  1+ FRET REQUIRED! 

This is a mountain dulcimer-focused workshop with hammered dulcimer translation.
