Live Jam Play-Along Course, Vol 1 from DulcimerCrossing

Backing Track Course-Book, mp3s, pdfs, Livestream Archive,

Jam on-the-go with selected resources from Volume 1 of the DulcimerCrossing Backing Tracks Library! Provided sheet music includes arrangements specifically for hammered dulcimer and mountain dulcimer, with a variety of tuning/capo options and many noter-friendly arrangements.

This Live Jam Play-Along course is designed to guide you into the joyful experience of jamming with other musicians. There is nothing like making music with friends or strangers-turned-friends. As the pulse of the music settles into a steady rhythm, our heartbeats synchronize too. Magic fills the air as musicians with completely different life experiences harmonize together.

Jam sessions are one of the best ways to explore the full musical experience — listening for chord changes, learning new melodies, improvising on familiar tunes, and discovering the sonic space that our instruments uniquely fill. It can also feel intimidating to join a jam for the first time, so DulcimerCrossing has created this resource to help ease you into the experience. You’ll get sheet music to follow, backing tracks that can be adjusted to any tempo, and videos by Steve Eulberg and Erin Mae Lewis to help you understand the learning process and jamming experience.
