Bill Robinson
Bill is a 3rd generation hammered dulcimer player living in St. Charles, IL. Known for his upbeat playing style, and unique dulcimer traditions handed down from generation to generation.

Bill is a master of the instrument, and has won many awards, as well as being inducted into the Fox Valley Arts Hall of Fame, honoring those who have achieved national and international recognition for their achievement in the arts.

Level 3 Cold Winter Night
This is an original tune by Bill Robinson - written in 2014 because there were a lot of cold nights that year.
Level 1 Flexible Hammers
Bill gives a detailed explaination of how to hold flexible hammers.
Level 2 Knee Deep in Snow
This is an original tune by Bill Robinson, written in the key of C. For the more advanced students, Bill adds embellishments to the basic melody. He encourages us to create embellishments of our own and have fun with the tune.
Level 2 Playing Chords
Bill demonstrates playing chords on the treble bridge of the hammered dulcimer using his favored pattern.
Level 2 Playing Standing Up
Bill shows us how to add guitar buttons and a strap to your hammered dulcimer, and play standing straight up. He says this position is easier on his back.
Level 2 Rachel
Bill uses this tune to teach us how to find major and minor chords using the H pattern.
