Bluegrass

This mountain dulcimer is strung with four strings, set at equal distances apart.  The Galax-style dulcimer is a form of lap dulcimer which was developed in the vicinity of Galax, Virginia.  Galaxes are lozenge-shaped, with deeper sides than most other dulcimers, usually 2 1/2 to 3 inches. The instrument is strung with four strings, all tuned to the same note.  The first two strings are usually played with a noter (a small smooth dowel or stick of wood); the remaining two act as drones.

Steve Eulberg Steve Eulberg Miss McLeod's Reel
This is a Scottish-Irish fiddle tune with a long history in America. Sometimes Miss McLoed is called Mrs., in Ireland she's a Mc, and in Scotland she's a Mac. But whatever name she goes by, and whatever title the tune is given, Mrs. McLeod’s Reel is a grand old lady who has traveled far and wide to become a standard tune in many fiddling traditions.
