VideoAbout the Lessons

1. Demo Steve demonstrates this original, modal tune before teaching us how to play it!
2. Part A Next, Steve shows us how to play the A Part melody in a high octave, as well as the lower octave. This section has a short-long rhythm like a Strathspey.
3. Part B For the B Part, we start below "Do." Again, for this section, Steve demonstrates playing the melody twice - once in a higher octave, and the second time in a lower octave.
4. The Story Here's the story behind Steve's original song!
5. The Arrangement Now that you know the melody for both Part A and Part B in two octaves, you can mix it up. Here Steve plays through the tune for us, smoothly transitioning from one octave to another.
6. Twin Harmony You can harmonize with others by playing a twin harmony just above the melody line.
