1. Demonstration Linda and Dan Delancey demonstrate this lovely well-known Welsh tune to get us eager to play it.
2. Mapping the Tune Here Linda Maps out the Tune and its Form
3. Phrases 1 and 2 Now Linda begins teaching this tune by focusing on the first two phrases, noting their similarity with each other.
4. Phrase 3 Noticing the use of sequences, Linda teachers the 3rd Phrase adding a harmony note for embellishment.
5. Phrase 4 Linda shows us the final phrase (should seem familiar!)
6. Putting It All Together Now Linda puts all the pieces of the Melody Together.
7. The Importance of BackUp A focus of Linda's teaching is reminding students of the importance of learning to play back up for other musicians.
8. Playing Chords, Phrase 1 Linda invites us to play the Chords for Phrase 1 with her.
9. Playing Chords, Phrase 2 In this episode we play the chords for Phrase 2.
10. Playing Chords, Phrase 3 In the Chords for Phrase 3, Linda makes more use of harmony notes.
11. Playing Chords, Phrase 4 Here are the chords for the 4th Phrase.
12. BackUp All Together Now Linda puts all the pieces of the backup together and invites us to play it with her....here we go!
