1. Introduction This flowing arrangement of America the Beautiful is played in the key of C. In this video, Linda explains why she chose to arrange this beautiful tune in that key, and demonstrates the simple introduction.
2. Verse, Phrases 1 & 2 Linda continues with the arrangement, utilizing running arpeggios and grace notes.
3. Verse, Phrase 3 Here we explore different ways to play an arpeggio - with 3, 4, or 5 strings.
4. Verse, Phrase 4 Here Linda shows how we incorporate the F#, even though we're in the key of C, and follow that with a G7 chord.
5. Chorus, Part 1 Now we begin the first phrase of the chorus with an extended C chord, ending with a high E.
6. Chorus, Part 2 Here we continue with the arrangement for lines 1 & 2 of the chorus.
7. Chorus, Part 3 In this video, Linda teaches lines 3 and 4 - beginning with an inverted F chord.
8. Chorus, Part 4 Finally Linda shows us how to play the ending arpeggio, and then demonstrates lines 3 and 4 together one more time.
